Vaporisation
Vaporisation is a process in which herbs, plant materials or other substances are heated to a temperature high enough to release the active ingredients without burning them. These active substances are then converted into vapour, not smoke. Unlike smoking, where the material burns and produces harmful carcinogens and tar, vaporisation is a much healthier alternative for releasing and utilising active substances.
During vaporisation, the active substances are released in a gentler way, so more of them are released (up to 95%) than when smoking (only about 30%). This means that you consume less material by vaporising and at the same time its active substances are used much more efficiently. In addition, the vapour from the vaporiser is softer and less irritating.
